Your stay on the Trouwe Hulp
Port of departure: Boornzwaag (Langweer or Sneek also possible)
The Trouwe Hulp is a traditional skūtje with many authentical elements preserved. The ship provides guests with basic, yet comfortable accommodation for up to 12 persons.
Skipper Reitse quit his successfull job to live his dream and he offers his guests this unwinding experience to discover what is truly important.
Your journey on the Trouwe Hulp
Traditionally, skūtsjes sailed on the Frisian inland waters. The Trouwe Hulp also sails a lot on the Frisian lakes and canals from its berth in Boornzwaag (near the picturesque watersports village of Langweer). A unique sailing area is the National Park Alde Feanen. This bog area is located around the village of Eernewoude and offers a varied landscape with lakes, reed and marsh forests. This variation provides a great wealth of different plants and animals. The ultimate form of relaxation is watching the sunrise or sundown on one of the many islands!
But Trouwe Hulp also sails with you over the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea. Falling dry is no problem due to the shallow draft of the ship. During a trip across the Wadden Sea you can also sail to Terschelling or Vlieland.
Sailing experience is not necessary. The skipper and sailor will show you on board and show you the most beautiful places in Friesland!
